Eurohockey Youth Leadership Committee

Country: European level 

Duration: Committee serves a 2-year mandate.

Procedure for involvement: Eurohockey national associates can nominate 1 person per country to join the youth committee. Once nominated, Eurohockey board selects 12 young people to join the Youth Leadership Committee. 

Specific Criteria:  

• Applicants aged between 18-30 years old; 

• Active in hockey, either by playing, coaching, working or volunteering.  

Description: 

The committee is responsible the safeguarding of the EuroHockey Institute’s Youth Leadership programmes and giving youth a voice in EuroHockey. 

It also supports the increase of young people accessing hockey whilst providing work experience across hockey programmes, within development, competitions and marketing and providing a pathway to committees in nations and/or with EuroHockey.
