EUAC Meeting In Paris

From 25-26 March 2026, the ENGSO EU Advisory Committee (EU AC) convened in Paris, France, for a working meeting dedicated to shaping and advancing ENGSO’s new advocacy plan. The French National Olympic and Sports Committee headquarters, provided an inspiring setting for strategic discussions.

Over the course of the two-day meeting, Committee members engaged in in-depth exchanges on the priorities, structure, and long-term vision of ENGSO’s advocacy work at the European level. Particular attention was given to identifying key policy areas where ENGSO can further strengthen its voice and ensure that the interests and needs of grassroots sport organisations are effectively represented within EU decision-making processes.

The Committee also had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the French Ministry of Sports, Youth and Community Life. This exchange provided valuable insights into national and European policy developments, while fostering a dialogue on the broader context in which grassroots sport operates in France. The discussions highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between national authorities and European sport organisations in supporting inclusive, accessible, and sustainable sport systems.

Participants in the Paris meeting included Kaisa Larjomaa (Chair, Finnish Olympic Committee), Angele Feuillette (CNOSF), Andre Urban (OPES), Chloe Jordan (ENGSO Youth), and ENGSO Secretary General Theo Neyenhuis, each contributing their expertise and perspectives to the discussions.

ENGSO Youth would like to thank the French National Olympic and Sports Committee for its generous hospitality. Special thanks are extended to its Head of International Relations, Mounia Gicquel, as well as to EUAC member Angele Feuillette, for hosting the meeting!
