ENGSO and ENGSO Youth Staff Gather in Amsterdam for Annual Staff Meeting

From 8–9 June 2026, staff members from ENGSO and ENGSO Youth came together in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for their annual staff meeting, hosted and led by ENGSO Secretary General Theo Neyenhuis (NOC*NSF).

The two-day meeting provided an important opportunity to review ongoing activities and workflows, discuss organisational development, and strengthen collaboration between teams. Participants also advanced preparations for several upcoming initiatives and events, including the European Sport Platform 2026.

 

In addition to operational planning, staff exchanged ideas on ENGSO’s evolving communication strategy and explored future priorities and opportunities. The meeting served as a valuable forum for sharing knowledge, aligning objectives, and ensuring coordinated efforts in delivering ENGSO’s mission across Europe.

 

Representatives from all ENGSO departments were present. Attendees included ENGSO Secretary General Theo Neyenhuis, Office Director Marie Denitton, Communication Manager Polona Fonda, Project Managers and Coordinators Lovisa Broms, Rachel May, Bence Garamvölgyi, Niki Koutrou, and Project Officer Ophélie Delobel, as well as Equality Officer Kyra Angerer.

 

ENGSO Youth was represented by Managing Director Tiago Guilherme, Policy and Projects Manager Chloe Jordan, Projects and Partnerships Manager Nadica Sechev, and Communication Officer Nikoleta Fiscarelli.

 

The annual staff meeting once again highlighted the importance of cooperation, strategic planning, and shared commitment in advancing sport and youth engagement across Europe.
