Exploring the sports culture and wilderness of Romania: Dare2Move4Nature camp
The second Dare2Move4Nature camp ⛺ 🥾 took place from 25–29 August 2025 in Romania, set in the wild landscapes and mountains of Suceava County, near the village of Crucea. Organised by project partner 🇷🇴 AJSPT Suceava (Sport for All Association Suceava), the camp brought together youth teams from Romania, Lithuania (Širvintų Sporto Klubas) and Slovenia (Center Veriga, Inštitut Impact).
After a long journey into the wilderness 🌲 and settling into the campsite, participants kicked off the adventure with introductions and a fun rafting trip on the Bistrița River 🚣🏽♂️ , followed by afternoon paintball and camping activities.
The following day featured adrenaline-filled trip to Gura Humorului ⛰️ , where the group soared on a zipline ride and hiked to the top of the ski hill, and a visit to the iconic Voroneț Monastery. On the final day, participants tackled a challenging hike around the legendary “Ladies’ Rocks” at Rarău 🏔️ , taking in stunning views along the way.
Throughout the camp, participants explored local traditions, culture, and nature, while building lasting bonds and friendships across borders. 🤝🏽
With two successful camps completed, the Dare2Move4Nature project has now wrapped up its camping activities and continues with the remaining project goals.
We warmly thank 🫶🏽 the entire team at AJSPT Suceava for their hospitality and for creating such a memorable adventure.
