Open call - ENGSO Youth is inviting sport, youth and other organisations to join the Move4Nature initiative
- Do you enjoy walking or hiking with your members and/or friends?
- Do you organise (or want to organise) clean-up activities in local communities?
If you answered “yes” to either of these, then we invite you to join the Move4Nature initiative! This programme harnesses the power of physical activity to promote environmental protection and climate action.
Erasmus+ Sport co-funded Move4Nature project is a network of local events across Europe. Each event includes a hike combined with a cleanup action.
This year, with the support of organisations and active Europeans, we are collecting kilometres of walking and kilograms of waste, through an online calculator, with the ambitious goal of making our continent cleaner, more active, and healthier.
How can organisations join?
Organisations can take part by hosting a Move4Nature event—a hike combined with a clean-up action. Here’s how:
Plan a hike – Choose a suitable local trail for your members.
Clean as you go – Collect any litter you find along the way and dispose of it properly.
Measure your impact – Record the distance walked and the amount of waste collected, then submit the data to the Move4Nature calculator.
Share your story – Take photos and send us a short description – we’ll feature your efforts on ENGSO Youth and Move4Nature channels! Send the photos and short description to [email protected] (Chloe Jordan) or submit them via this form.
