The meeting brought together project partners to align on key objectives, implementation strategy, and upcoming activities. Discussions focused on organising national workshops on youth participation for young leaders in sports, establishing a network of European youth and sport organisations, and finalising the project’s logo, visual identity, and communication strategy.

Partners also mapped out the project timeline, highlighting major events such as the upcoming European Youth & Sport Platform in Munich, Germany (5–7 June 2025), which will feature sessions and activities tackling the challenges of youth participation within European sport.

About EUYOUSPORT:

EUYOUSPORT is ENGSO Youth’s newest project, co-funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme (European Youth Together Call). It started on December 1, 2024, and will run for two years, concluding on November 30, 2026. This initiative seeks to provide young people with meaningful opportunities to have their voices heard within the sport sector.

The project partners will integrate youth policy and best practices into the sport sector, promoting effective and meaningful youth participation in sport governance. They will also establish youth representation mechanisms within governance structures and decision-making processes, raise awareness and build the capacity of sport organisations to implement effective youth participation strategies through activities such as youth programmes, volunteering, peer education, and non-formal education through sport.
