ENGSO Youth joins ENGSO for a staff meeting in Brussels
On October 14-15, 2024, staff members from ENGSO and ENGSO Youth gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for a two-day meeting focused on current developments, ongoing projects and forthcoming activities.
Held at the European Olympic Committees (EOC) EU office, where ENGSO maintains its Brussels representation, the meeting was led by the ENGSO Secretary General Sara Massini. The agenda included various topics related to ENGSO’s functioning and development.
The meeting started with a presentation from ENGSO Youth Chair Ugne Chmeliauskaitė who introduced ENGSO Youth’s flagship event, the European Youth & Sport Platform. This session focused on the planning and organisation of the 2025 edition, scheduled to take place in Poland in June 2025.
Following the presentation of the youth event, ENGSO Secretary General Sara Massini provided updates on policy developments relevant to ENGSO’s EU Advisory and the Equality Within Sport Committee.
In the afternoon, the staff engaged in discussions regarding a new membership strategy, inclusive, values-based approach to communication, and internal procedures.
The second day concluded with bilateral meetings among various departments within ENGSO, fostering collaboration and alignment on policy, projects, communication and internal development.

Looking ahead, ENGSO is set to organise the 2024 European Sport Platform, in collaboration with the Kosovo Olympic Committee, in Pristina, Kosovo, from November 21-23, 2024. For further details on the program, please visit our website.
