ENGSO Youth meets with Jong Oranje during their study visit to Vienna, Austria
Vienna, 14-16 June 2024 – On the occasion of the 32nd ENGSO General Assembly and 21st ENGSO Youth Assembly, ENGSO Youth took the opportunity to meet with the Jong Oranje, during their study visit to Vienna, Austria, on 14-16 June 2024.
Through the two study meetings, ENGSO Youth Chair Ugnė Chmeliauskaitė, Vice-Chair Erik van Haaren, Committee members Alessia De Iulis and Marija Leskovec, staff members Polona Fonda, Communication Manager and Ringa Baltrušaitė, ENGSO Youth secretariat, presented the development, structure and functioning of the ENGSO Youth and doved deeper with young representatives of Jong Oranje into conversations of social inclusion and sustainability, development and professionalisation of the internal governance structures for more efficient and effective operations.

During the sessions, ENGSO Youth presented the working groups and its activities, mainly how they operate and the projects they are currently implementing. The team also explained the structure of ENGSO Youth and how the Committee, Staff and the programmes, Young Delegates and Alumni, complement each other.
Based in the Netherlands, Jong Oranje is the largest network for young people working in sports that contributes to the personal and professional development of young professionals.
