20th EFDN Conference takes place in Athens, Greece, with ENGSO Youth being among the participants
Before heading to Madrid, ENGSO Youth Committee member Isaiah Kioiloglou participated in the The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) 20th EFDN Conference which took place from 13-15 November 2023 in Athens, Greece.
The main topic addressed by the conference was “Making Football Matter”.
EFDN Conferences brought a unique opportunity for environmental, social and governance (ESG) network experts, as well as newcomers into the ESG world, to learn from each other and share their insights about topics such as fundraising in ESG, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, physical activity in a younger and older population, or STEM education, among others.
The format of the conference included panels, breakout sessions, study visits and roundtables, and offered multiple chances to network and connect with other EFDN members and experts in the ESG in football.
