ENGSO Youth Committee members Erik and Mirjana at 63rd International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors
Two of our Committee members, Erik van Haaren, representing Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation, and Mirjana Ivkovic, representing the Olympic Committee of Serbia, participated in the 63rd International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors organized by the International Olympic Academy.
The event took place in Olympia, Greece, from 10-22 June 2023. This year’s main subject was “Innovating physical education and Olympic values education to build a better world”.
The YOA Session brings together young people of different nationalities, aged 20-30 years old, in a spirit of friendship and cooperation and encourages them to build on the knowledge they acquire during their stay in Olympia, as worthy ambassadors of Olympism.
Over the course of 12 days, Erik and Mirjana took part in lectures, working groups, sports activities as well as art activities.
