This June, Stockholm will be the epicentre of the European youth sport as youngsters from all over Europe will travel to the Swedish capital to join the first edition of the European Youth & Sport Platform.
The European Youth & Sport Platform 2023 is a new event, designed by youth for youth, and organised by ENGSO Youth in cooperation with ENGSO and The Swedish Sports Confederation in Stockholm, Sweden.
The inaugural edition of the European Youth & Sport Platform 2023 will take place on 1-4 June 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden, under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
With a mission to develop and advocate for youth and sport in Europe, more than 100 participants, including facilitators, young leaders, editorial and rapporteurs’ teams from all over Europe, are expected to actively participate to this three-day event.
Under the theme of Youth Legacy in and within Sport and in line with the Swedish EU Presidency’s priorities, good governance, sustainability and digitalisations will bethe key discussion points.
The European Youth & Sport Platform 2023 will be an opportunity to initiate a dialogue,co-create the European youth sport agenda and address current priorities and challenges that the European youth are facing. Participants aged between 18-35, and from all over Europe, will get the chance to have a say and engage in various workshops, plenary sessions, sport activities and an exhibition fair, while also joining forces to produce and develop a paper with recommendations that will be later delivered to policy- and decision-makers.
National Olympic Committees, National Sport Confederations, European Sport Organisations and youth organisations from Europe have already been invited to send their youth representatives.
