Play for the sustainable environment in Peru with Rawand & Aladdin

Two of our Young Delegates, Rawand Ben Brahim, and Aladdin Alrifai, travelled the long distance to help facilitate and implement the transcontinental training course called “Play for the sustainable environment”.

The training course was organised within the “Play for the sustainable development” project which was written and is coordinated by the Budapest Association for International Sports-Hungary. It took place in Peru, on May 15-21, and included 30 young leaders from from 6 different countries.

The knowledge and skills they gained through our Youth for Sustainable Development internations activity, funded by Council of Europe through the European Youth Foundation, helped them deliver the course in Peru.

Aladdin, project manager of the training course, and Rawand, co-facilitator, were part of the project team that aimed to teach young participants about the importance of sustainability and the ways sport can be used as a tool to promote, advocate and work towards a more sustainable environment.
