ENGSO and ENGSO Youth statement in support of Ukraine

The European Sports NGO (ENGSO) and its youth body ENGSO Youth are saddened by the current situation and condemn the violent aggression by the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

We express our full support and solidarity with Ukraine and its people. We believe in democratic values which don’t align with the current international situation, and we urge the civil society to remain united, promote dialogue, friendships, education, equality and inclusion as tools for achieving everlasting peace.

As already shown by several National Olympic Committees and Sports Confederations in Europe, ENGSO calls its members to stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian Sport Community.
